Your own concentrated platelets, injected into the scalp to wake up struggling follicles and improve density.
How it works
We draw your blood and spin it to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, then inject that concentrate across the thinning areas of your scalp. Those growth factors increase blood supply to the follicle, extend the growth phase of the hair cycle, and can reactivate follicles that have miniaturized but not yet died.
Here is the honest part: PRP cannot regrow hair where the follicle is fully gone. It thickens and revives what is still there. This is why timing matters more with hair than with almost anything else we do, and why we would rather see you early than tell you later that we cannot help.
What it treats
- Androgenetic alopecia, both male and female pattern thinning
- Diffuse thinning
- Postpartum hair loss
- Thinning at the part, temples, and crown
- Support alongside a transplant or medical therapy
Are you a candidate?
Good candidate if: you have thinning with visible fine hairs still present, you are early in the process, or you want to support results from finasteride, minoxidil, or a transplant.
Not a candidate if: you have completely bald areas with no follicular activity, you have a platelet or clotting disorder, you have an active scalp infection, or you have significantly low platelet count.
Worth knowing: hair loss has many causes, including thyroid, iron, and hormonal factors. If we suspect something systemic is driving it, we will tell you to get bloodwork before we treat, because PRP will not outrun an untreated deficiency.
What to expect
Before: wash your hair the morning of, no product. Hydrate well and eat beforehand since we are drawing blood.
During: blood draw, processing, then injections across the scalp. 45 to 60 minutes. Numbing is available. Scalp injections are quick but sensitive, and we will not pretend otherwise.
After: tenderness for 24 to 48 hours. No washing for 24 hours. No harsh product or heat styling for 48 hours.
Results timeline: shedding may briefly increase around week 4. This is a normal cycle reset and not a sign of failure. Density improvement shows around 3 months, with best assessment at 6 months.
Protocol: three sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, then maintenance every 4 to 6 months. The initial series is not optional if you want real results. One session is a test, not a treatment.
Pricing
$600 per session, or $1,600 for the recommended series of three, a $200 saving.
Most clients start with the series. If you are unsure, a single session lets you experience the treatment before committing, though your provider will be direct that one session alone rarely produces visible change.
