Are you a candidate?

What to expect

Before: stop retinoids for 3 to 5 days. No sun exposure or self-tanner for a week. Come with a clean face.

During: topical numbing for 20 to 30 minutes, then 30 minutes of treatment. Most clients describe it as a vibrating sandpaper sensation, more intense on the forehead and around the nose.

After: you will look sunburned for 24 to 48 hours, with mild flaking around day 3. No makeup for 24 hours, no working out for 24 hours, no active skincare for 3 to 5 days. SPF is non-negotiable.

Results: glow at one week. Real collagen change at 4 to 6 weeks, and cumulative over a series.

Protocol: a series of 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart, then quarterly maintenance.

    On damp skin, lather a nickel-size amount of gentle gel or cream between palms. Massage face and neck for 30–45 seconds, focusing the T-zone, hairline, and around the nose. Keep pressure light to protect the barrier; if you wore SPF or worked out, sweep along the jaw and under the chin.
